The Ten Tenors – ten friends with little secrets.

If someone knows how to combine classical, pop and rock music then it’s the guys from The Ten Tenors. This Australian band has thrilled audiences worldwide with their brilliant voices, even though the members of the group change regularly.

“We’re like a successful football team, where you’ll see new faces.“ That’s how Boyd Owen explains why the group has new members time and again.

“The most important thing is to get along with each other and work as a team,” and this always works out really well says Boyd Owen from Melbourne. “We are really good mates and a nice bunch of guys”

Ten friends who all have their own little secrets. Thomas David Birch used to be a Boxer for three years, before he joined the group. Ben Stephens was working for a tourist ghost tour in a prison in Western Australia. “The problem was, that the place was actually haunted!” Ben says and Chad Hilligus is a restaurant critic.

“You see we all have an interesting story to tell about our lives.” says Boyd Owen who prefers to rehearse in the bathroom, (“The acoustics are always the best there"), loves learning languages and even speaks German.

The winsome singer will leave The Ten Tenors after the current world tour, which was not an easy decision for him to make. “I spent more than three great years together with the boys and we travelled all around the world. I will miss the band and our time together”. Boyd Owen wants to focus on his solo career “but their friendship will last forever”.
