French Christmas...
French Christmas was a short, 7 hour, 12 dish, banquet! (yes, you read right...) Started at 8:30pm with Moët and finished at 3:30am with 20 year old Bordeaux. In-between - soup course, salmon, oysters, foie gras and pain d'épices course, turkey with two types of stuffing, dauphine potatoes with everyone's favourite haricots vertes, true calvados course, salad course, cheese course, and lets not forget dessert and tea. Then somewhere in the middle we opened presents at midnight. I'm sure I was French in a previous life...

@Katja - mais tu parles très bien le français.
Il a été, vraiment, quelques moments avant que je sois capable de se déplacer à nouveau. Je pense que Qantas va me demander d'acheter un autre siège avion parce que je suis tellement gros, après mon séjour en France.

Merci, il ya quelqes années je l'ai appris au collège. Maintenant c'est la première fois je peux appliquer mes connaissances. Un plus raison pour dire "Merci" à toi :-)

as the Baron has eaten like a king, that sounds like a true pleasure and joy. The "Alte Fritz," the king of Prussia has also brought the French into the country, but this culture of food in Germany is not preserved. Another great experience in your 2011.
